Roomable

Privacy Policy

Roomable stores the rental records you choose to add so you and the people you authorise can manage shared properties.

Information Roomable stores

Roomable may store your account name, email address and user identifier; property addresses and room details; tenant names, contact details and notes; tenancy dates; rent, payment, receipt, utility and bond records; and tenancy agreement PDFs you choose to upload. When you use Google sign-in, Google's sign-in software may also process limited account, device, coarse-location, usage and diagnostic information to authenticate you and operate that service.

How the information is used

The information is used only to provide Roomable’s features: signing in, syncing rental records, sharing selected properties, tracking amounts due, preparing records and exports, and showing documents you uploaded. Roomable does not sell personal information, display advertising, or use app data for cross-app tracking.

Service providers

Roomable uses Supabase for authentication, database storage and private document storage. If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, that provider processes the sign-in according to its own privacy policy. Roomable receives only the account information required to authenticate you. Roomable does not run advertising or behavioural product analytics; Google's sign-in software may process limited identifiers, usage and diagnostic information for authentication-service analytics, as declared in its Apple privacy manifest.

Sharing and access

Property records are visible only to accounts that a property owner has authorised. Owners can assign full-owner, manager or view-only access and can remove access. Roomable does not make property or tenant records public.

Retention and deletion

You can start account deletion inside Roomable at Settings → Family access → Delete account. Your sign-in identity, Roomable profile and property access are removed. If you are the only owner of a property, its Roomable rooms, tenants, payments and uploaded documents are also deleted after you confirm. Records belonging to a property that has another owner remain available to that owner, but your Roomable profile is removed.

Some non-identifying transaction or security audit references may be retained where reasonably needed to protect record integrity, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. Roomable removes protected copies saved by the app on your device when deletion completes.

Security

Roomable uses encrypted network connections, private document storage and property-level access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security, so owners should grant access only to people they trust and keep their device and sign-in account secure.

Children

Roomable is a business and property-management tool and is not directed to children under 13.
